A few weeks ago I met up with Edouard, better known as Arteographie, in Luxembourg City to shoot some pictures and talk about photography and my blog. I’ve been following his work for a couple of months now and I feel honored to have had the chance to work with him for my blog – also it’s the very first time I’ve worked with a professional photographer for Imagine the Swallows so it was kind of special!:)

Oh and remember when I told you I’d shot an outfit with my new overknees when it wasn’t snowing or raining? Well, we shot it on that same day – it was a perfect sunny (yet very cold) Monday afternoon, when after coffee and talks, we were able to catch the beautiful light before the sun was about to set. I think when wearing overknees, the rest of the outfit should be kept fairly simple to avoid the overall outfit to look cheap or tacky.. if you know what I mean 😉 Thus, I combined the overknees with a simple oversized sweater from Hollister and a basic H&M skirt.

A very special thanks to my friend Kaori, who tagged along and was the best assistant I could have wished for <3

Love the photos! It’s so difficult to find the perfect pair of overknees, I am still searching… maybe it will go out of fashion by the time I find a pair 😀

I love that look, simple but special at the same time. These boots are really wonderful and perfect with the rest of your outfit. I think you are right to keep it simple to not overdress.

    Love
