A little over a week ago Carmen and I drove up to Düsseldorf to take part in the Fashion Blogger Café at the GDS Trade Fair. Before driving up I had to decide on what to wear for that day… and that was kind of hard at first because I mean ‘What to wear in a room full of bloggers?!?’ First appearances are very important in this – often very superficial – blogger business. Sitting in front of my closet, wondering what I could wear to not disappear in the crowd, I soon came to my senses. It’s not about showing off I thought, it’s about feeling good about yourself, feeling confident… it’s about showing who you are. So instead of wearing a super fancy outfit with heels I can barely walk in, I opted for my beloved Adidas Superstars, ripped skinny jeans, my favourite mesh blouse and an old Zara sweater (or is it a dress?
