From time to time WeAreTheModels challenges bloggers to create outfits around certain themes. For me, it’s not just fun to take part in those challenges and to see the outfits of the other bloggers but also, it inspires me to create a look when otherwise, I feel a bit uninspired. I feel that it is a lot easier to get to work when you have a deadline and a theme to respect. For this edition their theme was ‘spring’ and ‘flowers’ (#FilleEnFleurs) and even though I knew that I wouldn’t find a lot in my closet to create a corresponding outfit I accepted the challenge. All I had to do was to find a piece of clothing with flowers on it – which , under time pressure, wasn’t as easy as I had imagined (I selected and shot my outfit on the day the deadline ran out) Luckily, I found this off shoulder top at JBC and the moment I bought it I knew that I wanted to wear it with a choker. Unfortunately my latest Asos order – including a beautiful choker – hadn’t arrived yet and thus I had to improvise: I bought a black cord at Veritas and used it as necklace. For the time being it is a good solution but I can’t wait to get the one I’ve ordered. As the weather was nice I was able to combine the top with my old lace skirt from H&M and my black pointed Zara flats. Being used to wearing black, white and blue, I think this is the most flowery it will get 😉 How do you like the look? & Would you have noticed that the choker was improvised if I hadn’t told you it was?
