After an 10h journey (Luxembourg–>Brussels–>JFK–>NYC) I’ve arrived in New York City.
From JFK I took a cab to the city and that was the first time I realised that it’s really happening.
I AM IN NEW YORK.
To get into the time rhythm over here I changed clothes and had something to eat before meeting up with friends, going to the Central Park and walking around some more.
If you follow me on Instagram (@imaginetheswallows)you may know that it rained last night when I was on my way home, but it didn’t bother me much as it is soooo hot here that the rain doesn’t really feel like rain (only that I got completely soaked because I’d left my umbrella at home).
From my first impression I can say that I’m already in love with the city! It’s so different from everything I’ve seen up ’til now, but the good kind of different.
My time here is only starting, more from NY: soon!
