Recently, two friends of mine have been asking about how I decided on the name ‘Imagine the Swallows’ so I guess this is a question I should answer on here too. It’s not that big a story though haha. Back in 2011, when I finally decided to have the heart to start a blog (after my cousin told me to just go for it because I had nothing to lose) I knew that I wanted the name to include the word ‘imagine’. For me the word ‘imagine’ stands for hope, the future, dreams, love, … I can’t really put this in words and I don’t know if you can relate but I just think these 7 letters carry so many positive thoughts! So there I was sitting on my bed, trying different versions of names (because everything I came up with wasn’t available), thinking about what I could try next and then I had an idea. It was one month before I got my tattoo and as I knew how my tattoo was going to look like, that is to say with swallows flying up on the side of my back, I tried ‘Imagine the Swallows’, and without surprise for you guys now, this version actually worked. So this is how ‘my baby’ was born.

Two and a half years later I am really proud that I went for it and I love to go back and see the evolution of the blog but also of myself. Thank you all for your support!
